TPLF attacks the defense base in Tigray. They also tried to rob the North. This is an army that has been protecting the people of Tigray for more than two decades. It is also there to protect the people of Tigray. The TPLF, however, considered it a foreign and invading army. They set out to strike and plunder the army. War broke out in Dalshah.

 The government has been patient until the end of the war, in order to avoid harming the people of Tigray. War is not limited to one party. 

Our Defense Forces, under the command of the Command Post, have been ordered to carry out their mission to save the country. The last line of ‘the red line’ is crossed. Power is the last resort to save the country and the people. 

I call on the Ethiopian people to remain calm, to be vigilant in the face of possible harassment, and to stand by our defense forces.

ሕወሐት በትግራይ በሚገኘው የመከላከያ ካምፕ ላይ ጥቃት አድርሷል። ሰሜን ዕዝንም ለመዝረፍ ሙከራ አድርጓል። ይህ ሠራዊት ከሃያ ዓመታት በላይ የትግራይን ሕዝብ ሲጠብቅ የቆየ ሠራዊት ነው። በቦታው የሚገኘውም የትግራይን ሕዝብ ከጥቃት ለመከላከል ነው። ሕወሐት ግን እንደ ባዕድና እንደ ወራሪ ሀገር ሠራዊት ቆጥሮ፤ የመከላከያ ሠራዊቱን ለመምታትና ለመዝረፍ ተነሥቷል። በዳልሻሕ በኩልም ጦርነት ከፍቷል።

 መንግሥት የትግራይ ሕዝብ እንዳይጎዳ በማሰብ፣ ጦርነት እንዳይፈጠር የትእግሥቱ ጫፍ ድረስ ታግሷል። ጦርነት የሚቀረው ግን በአንድ ወገን ፍላጎት ብቻ አይደለም። 

የመከላከያ ሠራዊታችን በኮማንድ ፖስት እየተመራ ሀገሩን የማዳን ተልዕኮውን እንዲወጣ ትእዛዝ ተሰጥቶታል።  ቀዩ መሥመር የመጨረሻው ነጥብ ታልፏል። ሀገርና ሕዝብ ለማዳን ሲባል ኃይል የመጨረሻው አማራጭ ሆኗል። 

የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ነገሮችን በሰከነ መንፈስ እንዲከታተል፣ በየአካባቢው ሊከሠቱ የሚችሉ ትንኮሳዎች  በንቃት እንዲቃኝና ከመከላከያ ሠራዊታችን ጎን እንዲቆም ጥሪ አቀርባለሁ።
