Ethiopia coronavirus: 306 cases,about 100 cases hit in a week
May 16, cases pass 300 mark
As of May 9, Ethiopia had recorded 210 cases., that means it took just a week for the next 100 cases to be registered.
According to today’s data from the Ethiopian Health minister reports, the total laboratory tests conducted within 24 hours are 4.044, of these (19) of them are confirmed positive for Covid-19 and the total;l confirmed cases of of today are three hundred and six (306).
Among the confirmed cases, 15 of them are male and the 4 female. All are Ethiopians and their age ranges from 16-55 years old. Among those two of them are identified from Addis Ababa two are from Oromo region, Ginchi town. West shewa zone, 3 from Tigray region, (Mykadira and setir Humera Quarantine centers.) and 11 are from Somali region( JigJiga quarantine
center.)

The laboratory samples were collected from the high risk community members, returnees/passengers at the mandatory quarantine centers, ., contacts of the confirmed cases, health facility visitors, and suspects of isolation and treatment centers.
