I stand with the Ethiopian Orthodox church against any interference of the government. The same as I stood for the Muslims when many were arrested due to their resistance during the time of TPLF/EPRDF brutality, efforts to choose their leaders about eight years ago.
We Ethiopians are terrible scenarios on so many fronts. We have reached a tipping point where the signs pointing to the likelihood of our country imploding into ethnic violence. And then the instability is already in front of us. And how can it be done to stop this? What can we learn from those difficult years that we have gone through that can help us recover from our past? So as to build a better future even for all of us in the future.
I’m really and really frightened. Dangerously concerned about what’s going on there. The room things have pushed us to the edge like greed, selfishness, injustice, corruption, exclusion and immorality. Instead, are we willing to listen to God in our hearts in many ways that will lead us to transformation and could change for likely embarrassing truths.
Love. Justice and morality,equality, integrity in our love in our heart for the benefit of all of us, including our neighbors, near and far. These principles are the only way to end their cycle of our turn to lead us to the other direction, and it is taking us to work which is an instability which can collapse the country, thereby following our tyranny and another oppressive regime. As if this is seen in our past period in our life.
Please protect our fellow occupants, brothers and sisters by creating a better system that embraces humanity. For all of us. We can no longer hesitate to oppose Prime Minister Doctor Abiy Ahmed. This is a time where a big mistake and red line were touched, so we are not going to negotiate with this kind of handling at all. A rubbish way in our wounded in our mum’s land and on top of our religion.
We can do better in all of these areas, but when? I’m disappointed in what we have needlessly gone through. But I have still not lost my hope because God can help us through all this at such times. Get joined together in Solidarity and p. My God protects all of us. Long life for my mom. Ethiopia forever.
